As we continue to 
expand our presence, we are now looking for an experienced and dynamic chief operating officer (COO) for the Nordic Cluster to oversee operations, collections, recovery, and underwriting functions in the Nordic countries.

About the Role—Chief Operating Officer, Nordic Cluster
As COO of the Nordic Cluster, you will have a critical leadership role with management of cross-functional teams that play a critical part in our operational success. This involves direct oversight of operations, collections & recovery, and underwriting teams throughout the region. You will report directly to the CEO of the Nordic Cluster and be a member of the local Executive Committee (ExCo) and shape strategic decision-making and operational effectiveness across all business functions.

This permanent, full-time role is in Oslo with the chance to deliver a tangible impact in one of Europe’s busiest financial markets.

Key Responsibilities
• Leadership & Team Management: Oversee and empower committed and skilled teams across the Operations, Collections & Recovery, and Underwriting areasDevelop a high-performing culture built on collaboration, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
• Organizational Development: Lead the growth of internal processes, IT infrastructure, and organizational design to maximize efficiency, automation, and operational quality for the Nordic Cluster.
• Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement operational strategies that boost productivity, lower costs, and improve service delivery. All strategies should align with corporate objectives and the Target Operating Model.
• Regulatory Compliance: 
Have continued supervision of GDPR compliance and procurement procedures to ensure all working practices are in line with legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
• Operational Risk Management: 
Identify, evaluate, and monitor risks in operational processes to protect the companys reputation and profitability.
• Performance Monitoring: 
Establish, monitor, and report KPIs and SLAsCreate and implement improvement plans to secure the best performance.
• Customer Experience ImprovementWork together across departments to enhance end-to-end user experiences for clients, partners, and stakeholders. Be a champion of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Management of Third-Party Service ProvidersManage and develop productive working relationships with third-party service providers, notably collections and recovery, to deliver effective and dependable services.

Key Activities
• Be part of the Executive Committee (ExCo) to provide strategic alignment and cross-functional collaboration.
• Pinpoint pain areas in operational processes and create focused roadmaps and transformation initiatives to resolve them.
• Roll out new control frameworks, streamline processes, and maintain business continuity.
• Facilitate change management programsfostering innovation and digital transformation in operational processes.
• Provide strong data-driven decision-making through regular measurement and reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek an experienced professional with strong senior operational leadership, project implementation, and cross-border working experience. This is a demanding but highly rewarding opportunity for a candidate who has a passion for operational excellence and business change.
Essential Qualifications
• Master
s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable leadership positionpreferably in financial services or the leasing sector.
• 
Heavy exposure to operating strategy, project management, and IT transformation efforts.
• 
Track record in leading complex teams and transforming organizations through change and growth.
• 
Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish).

Preferred Experience
• Critical knowledge of leasing and financial services operations.
• 
Multifunctional experience spanning diverse geographies.
• 
Gamiliarity with GDPR regulations, procurement processes, and risk management practices.
• 
Peer experience in performance management, KPI tracking, and SLA deployment.
