We are seeking a highly experienced senior quality engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to be part of our vibrant team. Key Responsibilities
• Develop, design, and lead the execution of thorough test plans and test cases for sophisticated software applications.
• Develop and manage automated testing frameworks with Cypress and JavaScript to increase software quality and productivity.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, and provide timely resolution in coordination with development teams.
• Create, run, and maintain PL/SQL test scripts to verify database functionality and integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business needs and translate them into effective testing approaches.
• Conduct thorough testing of Medicare & Medicaid claims and payer systems to ensure compliance, accuracy, and high performance.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of defects and provide corrective suggestions to improve the overall software quality.
• Keep track of the progress of test execution and report, detecting and proactively fixing potential risks.
• Engage in code review, offering useful feedback to raise code quality and testability.
• Prepare and maintain accurate test documentation, such as test procedures, test results, and defect reports.
• Guide and mentor junior quality engineers, exchange best practices, and develop a culture of ongoing learning.
• Be current with industry trends, testing approaches, and tools in order to continually enhance testing processes.
• Work with stakeholders and product teams to create an overall better user experience by providing high-quality software products.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• 5 to 8 years of experience in software quality engineering and automation testing.
• Strong experience in automated testing using Cypress and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for defect tracking, test management, and project tracking.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL for database testing, validation, and query optimization.
• Extensive experience testing Medicare & Medicaid claims and payer systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor‘s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Experience working in a hybrid work environment, with the ability to effectively handle tasks both remotely and on-site.
• Enthusiasm for ongoing learning and keeping abreast of the newest software testing tools and techniques.
• Skill in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
• Excellent documentation skills for keeping detailed and well-organized test records and reports.
• Experience in performing root cause analysis and taking corrective measures to avoid defects.
