Job Description
In the role of lead consultant with network voice specialization, you will have a pivotal responsibility in conceptualizing, building, and implementing next-generation collaboration solutions. You will be in charge of managing a team, streamlining project execution, and delivering quality solutions meeting client expectations. Your UCC expertise will play a pivotal role in optimizing workplace productivity and business efficiency.
Major Responsibilities
1. Solution Architecture & Design
• Design, develop, and architect network voice solutions for product development and maintenance projects.
• Establish technical requirements, solution design, and implementation plans to provide strong and scalable systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams of software engineers, system administrators, and network professionals to provide smooth communication solutions.
• Perform feasibility analysis and develop proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions to confirm technical strategies.
2. Knowledge Enhancement & Technology Adoption
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in network voice technologies, unified communications, and collaboration platforms.
• Investigate new tools, methodologies, and industry best practices to maintain continuous improvement and innovation.
• Assess emerging trends, research, and suggest contemporary technologies to maximize solutions.
3. Client Requirement Analysis & Solution Delivery
• Collaborate with clients to collect requirements and deliver customized solutions that meet their business requirements.
• Perform detailed assessments and audits of current network voice infrastructure, including opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Ensure that solutions meet industry standards, compliance levels, and security measures.
• Provide end-to-end implementation support, debugging, and performance optimization.
4. Team Leadership & Training
• Mentor, train, and develop a team of engineers to develop their technical expertise in network voice technologies.
• Organize workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and hands-on training programs.
• Establish best practices, technical guidebooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance team effectiveness.
• Recognize and address delivery risks by ensuring proper workforce readiness and skills building.
Required Skills & Expertise
Primary Skill: DWP-UCC-COLLABORATION
• Comprehensive understanding of Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) technologies.
• Practical experience with voice communication protocols such as SIP, H.323, RTP, and VoIP.
• Strong skills in configuring and managing IP telephony systems, PBX, VoIP gateways, and contact center solutions.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Zoom, Avaya, or other collaboration platforms.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, such as QoS, VLANs, and voice network security policies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based communication platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS Chime, or Google Meet.
Preferred Qualifications
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor‘s degree in Engineering (B.Tech) or equivalent.
• Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration, Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, or equivalent certifications in unified communications.
• Scripting and automation experience for voice solutions with Python, PowerShell, or other languages applicable.
