Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technology-related sales or account management.
• OR bachelor‘s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Competent English proficiency (reading, writing, and speech) at a commercial level.
Preferred Requirements:
• 7+ years of technology sales or account management experience.
• OR Bachelor‘s degree in Information Technology or a related subject with 6+ years of experience.
• OR Master‘s degree (MBA) in business studies, information technology, or a related subject with 3+ years of experience.
• 4+ years of experience in selling solutions or services.
Main Responsibilities
Sales Execution:
• Work with education customers to find digital transformation opportunities and connect them with Azure Cloud and AI offerings.
• Host workshops, webinars, and in-person engagements to demonstrate real-world digital transformation scenarios.
• Work with account teams, partners, and marketing teams to create and qualify new sales opportunities.
• Use Microsoft‘s sales process (MSP) to evaluate opportunities and create strategic selling strategies.
• Establish strong customer relationships through proactive outreach and social selling.
• Recognize customer requirements and suggest technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Influence deal closure plans, ensuring timely and predictable conversions.
Scaling & Collaboration:
• Collaborate with Microsoft‘s One Commercial Partner (OCP) network to up-sell and cross-sell solutions.
• Spot and onboard new partners to fill capability gaps and fortify joint business strategies.
• Co-create joint proposals with partners to drive customer value propositions.
Technical Expertise:
• Be a subject matter expert in Azure Cloud and AI solutions for the education sector.
• Drive industry events and customer interactions, establishing Microsoft as a trusted technology advisor.
• Mentor colleagues and drive best practice exchange between subsidiaries.
• Keep up to date with new technologies and deliver strategic insights to internal stakeholders.
Sales Excellence:
• Employ customer and industry insights to pursue business opportunities and refine solution portfolios.
• Track customer feedback reports and build action plans to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and manage sales and delivery success between account and pursuit teams.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders during business planning and strategy sessions.
• Carry out business analysis (e.g., whitespace analysis, market trends) to establish high-potential customers and develop a targeted sales strategy.
• Forecast account performance, generate territory plans, and drive strategic sales initiatives.
• Fully complete Microsoft training and certification courses to stay abreast of industry knowledge and position relevance.
