Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Lead Quality Engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience in automation testing, DevOps, and software quality assurance. An ideal candidate should possess a sound technical background in Selenium, Java, and Node.js and enjoy ensuring the highest level of quality standards in software development. Prior experience working in payer finance & accounting areas is a bonus. Key Responsibilities
You will be an essential part of delivering software quality in multiple projects as a lead quality engineer. Your duties will encompass:
Automation Testing & Quality Assurance:
•Head quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality projects with adherence to top industry standards.
•Develop, deploy, and support automated testing infrastructures with Selenium for enhanced testing efficiency.
•Write and support test scripts in Java and Node.js to provide effective testing coverage.
•Perform performance testing, regression testing, and functional testing to catch defects early during the development life cycle.
•Report and track test run, defect metrics, and testing performance against stakeholders.
DevOps & CI/CD Implementation:
• Use DevOps best practices to improve software development and deployment processes.
• Ensure smooth continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for quick software releases.
• Work with development teams to determine bottlenecks and streamline testing procedures.
• Adopt best practices for test automation, guaranteeing effective debugging and defect fixing.
Collaboration & Mentorship:
• Interact closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to determine project needs and outline testing strategies.
• Perform rigorous code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor junior quality engineers and provide knowledge sharing and guidance on automation testing and DevOps practices.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing practices and software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in this position, the candidates should have:
• Solid technical proficiency in Selenium, Java, Node.js, and DevOps tools.
• Knowledge in writing and updating automated test scripts for comprehensive testing coverage.
•Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines to provide seamless deployment processes.
•Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
•Good communication and collaboration skills to work in a team.
•Knowledge of payer finance & accounting fields (desired but not required).
Certifications Needed:
•Certified DevOps Engineer
•Selenium Automation Tester Certification
