Job Description
Oracle is looking for a dynamic and seasoned people manager to drive multiple customer experience enhancement programs by optimizing test strategies and processes for the Oracle Health Millennium product family. The position requires a professional who can establish high performance, reliability, and stability standards while getting multiple teams and stakeholders aligned on testing strategies.
The chosen candidate will be tasked with managing testing tools and processes in Oracle Health and AI (OHAI) and providing environment availability to product teams. The main aim is to attain a zero escape ratio for test teams by creating automated test suites with the highest coverage, lowering manual efforts, and reducing release lead times.
Also, this position demands experience in using advanced statistical methods, AI/ML technology, and customer analytics to maximize the customer experience and resolve pain points ahead of time. It is important to have a strong grasp of actionable product metrics and the capability to create pipelines to gather and measure these metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Have complete responsibility for the quality and strategy of the Oracle Health Millennium product for maximum customer experience.
Minimize the cost of escape defects by implementing rigorous testing gates and engineering best practices.
Ensure standardization of test practices across Oracle Health Millennium by collaborating with organizational leaders and stakeholders.
Lead discussions on test strategy, technical deep dives, and investigations impacting performance, stability, and scalability.
Develop and own the long-term roadmap for testing tools.
Reinforce and promote an engineering culture that aligns with Oracle Cerner’s values.
Act as mentor and subject-matter expert across Oracle Health AI teams.
Minimum Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of software product development experience.
Proficiency in full-stack development, coding, and automation test writing (backend and UI-integrated tests).
Excellent knowledge to build scalable, secure, and extensible systems.
UI test tool experience, e.g., EggPlant, Selenium.
2+ years‘ experience managing a team of 10 or larger.
Exposure to AWS/Azure or similar public cloud environments.
Bachelor‘s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and test data management methodologies.
Excellent collaboration skills to lead technically and align cross-organization teams.
Capacity to adjust to evolving client needs and troubleshoot unforeseen issues.
Basic AI/ML, advanced statistical methodologies, and data-driven decision-making knowledge.
