Your Role & Responsibilities
In your role as a Server IO Logic Design Engineer – Lead, your key responsibilities will be:
Working with stakeholders to establish functional requirements and design effective solutions.
Designing and synthesizing logic components with VHDL, Verilog, and C programming.
Unit testing and debugging with waveform analysis to validate component readiness for system integration.
Fixing defects reported by the verification team during the development cycle.
Assisting the physical design team in design optimization under timing, power, and area constraints.
Supporting the lab team in post-silicon characterization and validation.
Supporting the firmware team in debugging software procedures to ensure proper system operation.
Skills & Expertise Needed
Must-Have Skills:
High level of experience (7+ years) in logic design, specifically in high-speed I/O or analog mixed-signal fields.
Strong knowledge of hardware description languages, such as VHDL and Verilog.
Sound programming skills in C for microcontroller development.
Directed designer simulation testing and waveform analysis experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience with IBM logic design methodologies.
High-speed I/O logic design expertise.
Knowledge of advanced design verification techniques.
